WASHINGTON -- In his final acts of clemency, President George W. Bush on Monday commuted the prison sentences of two former U.S. Border Patrol agents whose convictions for shooting a Mexican drug dealer ignited fierce debate about illegal immigration.

The two guards from El Paso, Texas, each were sentenced to more than 10 years for the shooting, which they tried to cover up. They will be released within two months.

Considering they SHOULDNT have been arrested in the first fucking place .. small consolation.

If the Shrub had one fucking ounce of decency in him - their entire criminal records would be erased by a full pardon. Sadly a commutation of your sentence does not do that so they are still stuck with a record for the rest of their lives :evil:
