Default New High, same old Death...

This is new to me, but in case anyone else hasn't heard of it, it might be something to watch for if you've got teenagers. Sometimes I wish we could just share experiences "directly" to our children so they could see and feel first hand what some of us have gone through in our own youth while spending the night hugging a friend on a bad trip, or attending a funeral knowing the "real" reason why they died...

Wow. Can't say that I have ever heard of that drug. Sad.

My Brother-in-law needed the stuff for pain. It drove him nuts to the point he would rather have the pain. Must be really strong stuff, cause it wasn't his first rodeo with pain killers.

I have had a patient who died from opening the patchs and ingesting the drug inside. Unfortunately it's not new in the adult community. Adults have been abusing these things for a couple of years now. Sad that the kids are learning about it now too.

I've had to use those patches a few years back for my chronic neck pain. I took it off after a couple of days because it made me feel too weirded out. The weird part was that it took a couple of days for it to get out of my system after removing it.
Such a shame, why can't the kids just stick to smoking a fatty to get high, not with something that could kill them.
