New York Woman's Beer-Can Toss Led to Fatal Motorcycle Crash

AMSTERDAM, N.Y. — A Mohawk Valley woman reportedly angry over motorcycles speeding down her street is accused of throwing a beer can at a biker who then crashed and died.

Authorities say 57-year-old Georgeanna Crisalli was charged Wednesday with felony reckless endangerment for her part in the April 8 crash in Amsterdam, 28 miles northwest of Albany.

Witnesses told police that Crisalli picked up a beer can and tossed it at a speeding motorcycle driven by 50-year-old David Rivera of Fort Plain.

Rivera was momentarily distracted by the can just as a car pulled out of a side street. Police say he collided with the car and died after hitting his head on the front bumper.

They say excessive speed was the main cause of the accident.

That just turns my stomach. I wonder if he was traveling at a higher rate of speed because she was known to be a crazy biotch that threw shit at bikers. Has anyone bothered to find that out? Grrrrr :evil:
