Absolute Must Read!! This is awesome
![]() DAYTONA BEACH -- A twinkle-eyed, white-haired bundle of dynamite drove her motorcycle from a freezing New Jersey this week. Not so unusual for this 5 foot, 1 1/2-inch-tall great-grandmother. Gloria Tramontin Struck -- who said she's recognized by her maiden name because her father started a longtime Harley-Davidson dealership in 1915 -- has driven to most U.S. states once -- some many times. Daytona Beach: 11 times. She's ridden through the Mojave Desert and twice across Europe, including 48 hairpin turns of Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps. Bikes so far: three Indian motorcycles, 10 Harley-Davidsons and a few other brands. This year she rode a 2004 H-D Heritage Softail Classic to Bike Week. And at 82 years old, she's not slowing down. Rest of story Here right beneath the 2 pix of her. |

Now this story rocks. What a total inspiration. I love the comment about riding and not putting her bike on a trailer. She is one kick ass Lady

Great story! I had someone the other day say to me "I'm too old to ride a motorcycle, (he's 59) how long do you think you will be able to do it" I told him hopefully until I die. This story helps keep that hope alive!
