Default Boston Cops Seek Invites to Search Homes

This is soooo very dangerous .. I'm at a loss for words

Quote:
Boston police will ask parents in high-crime areas to let detectives search their children's bedrooms for guns without warrants in a new anti-crime program.
Rest of story here

I realize only 175 people have responded to this generic poll related to the same article so far, but the statistics makes me ill. :???:

Should police be allowed to search kids' rooms for guns with their parents' permission?

Yes. As long as the parents agree, its a good anti-crime measure. 109
No. It's a violation of civil rights. 66
Total Vote: 175
Is there really that few of us per hundred

Well Kelli I never pay any attention to any Polls, I don't know about any of y'all, but I have never been "polled" on anything, so I think they are all rigged to show whatever the pollster wants shown, maybe I'm just a bit jaded

But it wouldn't surprise me on this, cause many parents these days want everyone else to raise, and discipline their kids, they don't want to go search the rooms, they want cops to do it, so they can find out without having to get "involved"

If anyone ever considers anything like this just remember, once you get them in your business, they may not want to get back out.

But George, these are the same people that think without the Government supporting them, they will all die

This reminds me of something that occurred 20 years ago. I had some local podunk Fire Marshall who hated me try to threten me. He was a crooked commisioner who had been run out of Houston for stealing from the county to avoid going to prison.
He threatened me one day with the statement "I'm an officer of the state and I can come into your house and search it any time I want and I don't need a warrant." Being the polite and politically correct person that I am I replied " If you don't have a warrant, you better bring a body bag because I'l blow your fucking head off the moment you set foot in my house." He avoided me after that till the day he died.

People now a days don't seem to realize that giving up one constitutional right allows the erosion of all the others and pretty soon we are subjects rather than citizens.
