As a nation shifts toward more fuel efficient cars, will the motorcycle industry be able to keep up? With recent improvements in battery technology, companies are now producing electric-cycles. They carry the same qualities and benefits of an electric car, but can they deliver the same exhilaration and sense of freedom we are used to? Some companies think so.

I guess I'll just clip a playing card on the front fork rattling the spokes to get the desired sound :???:

Tell ya what sounded funny .. watched a newsclip this morning on a "green" drag bike .. sounds like you'd fall asleep before it kicks in. :ass:

Because some folks want to make the drag racing world more environmentally friendly .. WTF?

Well, I'd definitely try one.

I've actually heard the torque out of these electric engines were pretty awesome.

I've got no fear of change - I'll put a good electric bike in my stable right next to my harleys and my yamaha.

but it better be good...
