Default what a crappy week

i've had a particularly crappy week. my mom passed away so things have been a little weird. i made a quick run to texas to arrange and get through her funeral. while there i managed to contract pneumonia which didnt help any. as soon as i get over that and a couple job interviews here this week i need to get back and help the family start going through her home and get it ready to sell. i sure could use a ride to arkansas with you folks to de-stress a bit. take care, sooner or later i'm gonna catch up and get back to riding with you texas folks.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, Don. Please accept my condolences. She must have been a great lady if her son is any reflection.

I'm sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. My condolences to you and your family.

Pneumonia on top of it all sounds just awful. I'm so sorry it's so rough for you now. I hope your feeling better soon.

new week, better results.

I just accepted a position with Siemens and will be maintaining scanning equipment at all the airports in New Mexico. Being unemployed for 1 year and 12 days(who's counting) has been rough. I think it was more stressful than working. I wont start until June 14th. I will be leaving for training for two weeks somewhere in Texas. They haven't decided yet where to hold the training, all I know is it's in Texas. If it's anywhere near you guys in Austin, Dallas or Houston I'll be getting in touch so I can buy several rounds of beer. I have to get a security clearance so if some federal looking guy with a badge shows up at your door and starts asking about me don't freak out. The last time I went through a clearance investigation there had been a string of bank robberies in town and all my neighbors thought i was involved. So now I see a possibility of an new ultra in my future.
