I'm definately interested too! As long as it's warm! Even in the heat of summer, it's nice and cool in the Ozarks.
Staying at different places each night sounds good for seeing more of the Ozarks, but also means riding fully loaded through some roads that are a blast to tear up?

The closer to being after school is out in June, the better my chances of going since DeeDee won't have any more time off till then.

I've been to the Ozarks in July and August, and believe me, you need warm cloths in the mornings up in them thar hills!

Agree with ya on all counts Piff! Sherrie will be in School until the 1st week in June, and the roads/weather will be awesome!

Yes I think the way to go is 4 days.
1) Travel to Hot Springs.
2) Up to Eureka Springs or somewhere up there. Hwy 7 mostly Mt Nebo
3) Back to Hot Springs Hwy 23 Pig Trail mostly Mt Magazine
4) Travel Home

Some say they can't make it until school is out. Some want to go while the kids are still in school and it is less crowded.

Can the school employees not take a Friday and a Monday during the year? Or must it be during summer break?

Proposed rough agenda.

It will be some riding. It will be pretty riding.

Harley Forums USA “Razorback Rally” 2010

Hopefully the school employees can swing a Friday and a Monday in May. If not the earliest date possible in June. Please try to make it May.

Friday: Travel In
Friday Night: Hot Springs

Saturday: 246 miles
Hwy 7 North to Hwy 155
Take Hwy 155 east 10 miles to Mt Nebo Lookout
Back to Hwy 7 turning north again
Stay on Hwy 7 to Jasper
Left on Hwy 74 to Hwy 43
Left on 43 to Boxley and take a right on Hwy 21
Stay on Hwy 21 to Hwy 412 and take a left
Take Hwy 412 to Fayetteville and spend the night
Saturday Night: Fayetteville

Sunday: 249 miles
South out of Fayetteville on Hwy 71
Stay on 71 to Mena
Take the Talimena Scenic Byway Hwy 88 in AR and Hwy 1 in OK
Take 1 which ends up being Hwy 270 all the way to McAlester, OK
Sunday Night: Eat in Krebs a suburb of McAlester. Best Italian food and home made beer you may have ever eaten and drank. Spend the night in McAlester. Bring the rolaids and Nexium.

Monday: Home from McAlester

What do you think?
Too many miles each day? Is it OK? It should still leave time to eat and have a few beers.
