Know that a Nation to your North stands with you today in rememberence of those tragic events.
Together we will never forget those civilians who parished, the emergency services personell who gave their lives for their fellow Americans, and the soldier who now defends their honour and the free worlds way of life.... |

It is amazing how vivid that day remains in my mind, yet almost everything else that happened that year seems so far away in time.
I remember driving home from Baltimore after hearing about the towers and listening to the radio as the Pentagon was hit and thinking - "Well, that's it - we're (Baltimore is) next." And wondering where the plane would hit. |

I was delivering in Houston, and thinking the same thing, where next??? The days that passed with 0 planes in the air was erie too. It's amazing all those Brave people who went in those buildings knowing they most likely wouldn't come back out, but still did it to try and save other's. I get choked up every time I think of those Brave souls. They are the real defintion of "HERO's"
R.I.P. You are gone, but NEVER forgotten |

I flew from Syracuse to Orlando yesterday. When I booked my flight months ago I didn't even think about the date - it was just the most convenient time to fly. Afterwards I thought to myself, holy cow could I have picked a worse day to fly?
As it turned out it was one of the best flights I have ever taken. Both airports were empty and there were only 10 people on our plane. We also landed 45 minutes early. I think most people were hesitant to fly on such an infamous date, which thankfully made for a great travel day for the few of us who were in the air. Cheers, Speed |
