Default got hit yesterday

i was sitting at a redlight yesterday waiting to make a right turn into traffic when my riding buddy accidentally ran his roadking into me. he was doing about 5 mph and he hit my left leg and then into the left side of my bike which knocked me off my bike and pinned me. my right foot was stuck under the exhaust. i had on my boots or it would have broke my foot and burned me good. it bent my brake lever (foot), scratched the muffler on my fatcat all the way down, bent the mirror stem and scratched the shit out of it, and gouged the rear turn signal and popped off the lense . i could not get the bike off my foot or get it off me, felt like a racoon with its foot in a trap. this morning my foot is swollen up bad and hurts like a bitch. i am pretty sure its just bruised not broken. the surprising thing was my buddy was acting like he didn't want to pay for a new muffler and mirror. we bent the brake lever back with a big channel lock and i'll live with the turn signal. oh yeah i was wearing my hat and glad i was because my melon hit the pavement too.

Glad to hear you're not hurt worse.

If your "buddy" doesn't want to pay for the repairs he's not your buddy.

Cheers,
Speed

Ditto what Speed said.

He just should be happy you aren't whipping his ass.

doesnt sound like much of a buddy to me. i'm not a lawyer nor did i stay in a hoilday inn last night but i'd say he owes for repairs. i'm glad it wasnt worse but be careful with that ankle, there's lots of small bones in the foot and ankle that are real easy to dismiss any damage and be a real nightmare to try and repair later.

Wow glad to hear you are ok. I hate that the Dyna took a hit. Get an xray man! No one has xray vision to know if it is broken or not. At least you could get some good pain meds to tide you over until it heals up . Take care of yourself my friend.
