hello again

I just thought I would pop in and see how things were going here.

I have been busy as hell. I took over a bike shop for a friend. He was retiring from the navy( as a pilot grounded because of age) well because of current problems, they pulled him back to active duty and deployed him........he asked of I would watch his shop, and that is one of those requests that you just cannot refuse....So I am back to turning wrenches again

I redid my own bike again. well almost, I am not done with it. This time I welded and stretched a rear fender and molded 59 cadillac tail lights into it. The big 127 inch stroker dynoed at 161hp, and I have busted two primary chains in a year. The wide 1 1/2 inch belt shed 26 teeth the last time I twisted it, and had the tire hook up (it got me home though).

Your a Good man taking over your Friends shop, especially so he could return to service, kudos to you! Really need to see some pictures of the bike now :shock:

Long time no see!!! Glad you dropped in... That's great to take over for a friend.. When you start pumping those kinda HP the weakest link showes up for sure...

That's great you helping out a friend. That's weird that he was retiring & grounded because of age, then suddenly the age didn't matter? Typical military, things are constantly changing.
