A Special Holiday Request
Beth and I have "adopted" a salvation army giving tree Child. This is when you take an underprivileged child's christmas wish and make sure it comes true for him/her.
We saw that there was a boy who wanted a motorcycle for christmas, but we were told he needs clothes - so we thought why not a motorcycle vest? We can get him the vest, but we don't have enough patches for it. SO... We want to put together a motorcycle vest for the young 'un with patches from anyone who would like to contribute from this wonderful site. Beth and I are asking for any patches you all might have floating around your house - it doesn't mater what kind as long as they can go on a child's vest. So anyway - anyone want to send us a patch? Just PM me and I'll give you our address Thanks guys and gals We're also going to get him a toy motorcycle and some everyday clothes as well.

What a cool thing that you two are doing. We always try to pick a child from one of the trees here at the mall or make the toy ride. How old is this boy and when do you need the patches by? :smile:

we need the patches with in the next two weeks. I think we have until the 12th or 15th or some such day of December (real precise ain't I?... lol)

thanks guys - I'm trying to see if the gifts can be delivered via my motorcycle and a santa outfit. Doesn't look realistic at this point, but you never know...

i got a couple things in an envelope all ready for you. i should make it by the post office tomorrow. get us a picture of the finished vest kid included if you can.

Update: Beth and I got the jacket off to the little boy, but we had so many patches were trying to do it again for another child! you guys are the best
