Default Raleigh, NC

I just wanted to give two thumbs up to the Raleigh area. I bet a lot of North Carolina is quite the same, but I had never been to Raleigh before. I had a totally different perception than what I experienced. I was so impressed I thought I would give Raleigh their due hear.

Well it didn't hurt it started with the wonderful hospitality of Mungo. The Hooters girls had high standards too... LOL. Meaning they could hang with any citie's Hooters girls. And a key indicator when rating any city.. LOL

It was a very nice place with everyone very friendly. The guys I had to work with there were all first class, not something I run into everywhere.

The economy there seemed to be booming from all indications. Great roads, great airport.

Anyway for what it is worth, I liked Raleigh.

That opinion and commentary were worth exactly what you paid for it.

:yourock: Raleigh!!

Hey Gzr,

Aw that wasn't hospitality. Next time ya come and you're feeling better we'll get out and cut up.

We have some real cuties around here being a college town and all. But nothing like Red, I'm certain.

Raleigh is a little bit "sesame street", but it's a pretty good town.

Hope you can come back out soon, but either way, I'll see ya down at MB.

I was there a few years ago to visit my little sister who lives just north of Raleigh in Oxford. I have to agree with Gzr that the people there are very friendly.
I visited a Harley dealer in Raleigh (don't remember the name of it, I'll have to check my T-shirt drawer) and all the people there were really friendly, even the customers. 2 guys in there buying parts saw me with a Conroe TX harley T and told me "man you gotta ride the outer bank while you're here" and asked if I was headed to Myrtle.
I was in the cage which sucked, but I definately plan on going back one day soon on the bike, and Mungo is another at the top of my list of friends I want to meet in person.

The outer bank would be a hoot. In fact any NC coastal area would be great!
