Cant leave out Ronnie James Dio Rainbow in the Dark

Geez .. Man on the Silver Mountain too .. lol No way to list all my favorites I had 32 hard rock concerts under my belt by the age of 19 :twisted:

You know when this question comes up...I always default to this...in the Rock Band Category there are only a handfull of bands that could sell out stadiums for 30 - 40 years, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD and still could today...reapeat "and still could today" so when your talking about the greatest rock bands in history, they need to be able to stand the test of time, and be still relevent today.....ACDC apparel clothing is almost more popular today then it was in the 70's it's all over the high school kids....ACDC didn't EVER recreate themselves but THEY are still current after all these years, if anybody thinks that if they announced a world tour tommorow, that it wouldn't sold out by noon time...your drunk LMFAO

For these reasons...my top list is:


#1 ACDC

I'd argue that the Stones are not as relevant to the anyone under thirty than U2 and Aerosmith - so while I agree with your bands, my list would be.
1. ACDC
2. U2
3. Aerosmith
4. Stones

Several students in my (old) school can sing U2 and Aerosmith songs but have never heard of the Stones - thought they all know who Johny Depp's father is in Pirates of the Caribbean - lol

Yeah I would agree with you....The Stones can still sell out today, but that's just because the children of the 60's aren't dead yet LOL

As I was looking up all my favs I decide there was way to many to Red to post them all. :grin:

I have to agree AC/DC is still one of my all time favorites.
