i've actually done that. the drainage ditches in midland, tx were wide enough you could pull 2 people real easy for close to a mile in some stretches after a heavy rain. we didnt have wake boards in my day so a worn out set of water ski's (from a garage sale) worked just fine.

yep, born and raised poor white trash and made do with what you had.

Closest thing I could say I 've done is from horseback pulling guys at the beach. Fun but the horse wasn't crazy about it.
