A buddy of mine and I were having a discussion last week and debated whether or not you can push start a fuel injected bike? I have never tried and I was just wondering if the stator voltage is enough to excite the fuel injection system?

I had a 2001 Goldwing (stop laughing  ) that I ran the battery down while listening to some tunes consuming mass amounts of booze! The next morning it was dead so I had to push start it and it worked fine. So I guess the answer is yes in this case anyway.

Naw, I've got thick skin and big shoulders. I enjoyed that bike and it was my first. I would have bought a HD at that time but could not justify the cost difference. So I settled on the half ton highway couch for a few years. Just don't tell anyone else though HAHAHA

hate to rain on your parade but a fuel injection bike will not start and run unless there is enough juice in the battery to operate the fuel pump.
