Default And thus the Saga Ends

I got my RK back today thanks to the intervention of TFB and his Lawyer-ly skills.

After over a month of bullshit, they let me take the RK home with no fee to me.

They wanted a nice little sum for the privilege of tearing into my bike, diagnosing my issues and then denying my Warranty. In the end, we still could not get them to do the right thing, but at least the bike is home.

Now I have to tear into her myself to fix a few issues -

leaking inner primary seal,
Broken exhaust pipe and exhaust pipe bracket
Check for damage caused by loose compensator nut.

That's about it unless the electrical problem wasn't caused by the loose compensator nut.

It's amazing the amount of time and bullshit I had to put up with trying to get these guys to do what they were supposed to do.

Sounds like a nightmare Dan. Hopefully you get it sorted out on your own.

Cheers,
Speed

Glad you are making progress. Did you piss in the flower bed at the dealership? That always makes me feel better.

Trad if the nut was loose I would pull the rotor off and inspect the rotor splines and the splines on the shaft.. Also take a look at the stator and make sure the rotor if loose did not contact the stator and do damage... with a loose rotor there could be a excess vibration so I would ck torque on the 4 stator screws.. If they are loose I would replace them all as they are designed for one time use and discarded on removal.... Just my thoughts...

Best of luck!!!
