Handlebars not to exceed 32", tip to tip??

After trying 3 different bars on an '06 street glide, I'm at the end of my rope.... or bars rather!!

Bar no. 1 from stock: 9" rise with a whooping 38.5" tip to tip.... (it's true what they say that we learn something everyday, it never occured to me about the tip to tip measurement till after installation)

Bar no. 2: ordered some that were listed as, 10" rise and 31.5" tip to tip..... they came in measuring 35" tip to tip!!

Bar no. 3: went to the local dealer today and looked at the HD bars that are listed for a shorter rider with shorter arms (HD part #55914-98).... but I'm afraid they really won't help much since they measure only .5" more than stock in rise??

I'd like to find a set of bars (preferrably in black & 1.25") with about a 10" rise, and not exceeding 32" tip to tip.... I'm thinking that I could roll them back towards me, and in keeping the fairing mirrors in view!! I even thought about some 1" that I could cut on the ends to keep a 31-32" tip to tip..... as long as I still kept enough for the grips, switch housing & master cylinder.

If anyone out there could measure their tip to tip on a set that would be like a mini ape (or what-ever), without exceeding 31-32"...... PLEASE, please let me know what they have!!! Or, if anyone has any other ideas, that would be great.... Thanks, Gwen
