Hey Calli
If you want to know what is expected for the service intervals you should pick up the service manual for your bike. They are usually around $60 and well worth it. My service intervals are every 8000 kms. You should check your belt tension, break pads and rotors, clutch adjustment, steering neck bearing grease, visually check your tires for wear and damage, check your lamps for operation...etc. There is also what they call the critical fatener check list that you should go over. I do every other service on mine so that I am covered on any warranty issues. Keep all your reciepts for oils and filters as proof you did the job. I also check everything off in my manual as I do them. BP |

BP I have a manual.. I also have half a house being packed up & moved into the small half for rennovation... so I guess I Could say I Have one,.,. but I Haven't got it available... ( ever again, by the look of things!!!)
However, since I am still a total novice when it comes to diy, your list just made me think the Dealer's is a smarter idea.... & a nice 2 hr ride to get there to boot!
