Default The "Harley Speed Wobble"

An acquaintance of mine got into a bad speed wobble on the Interstate while traveling from Key West to Daytona last week and is looking for all the information he can find on the issue. I forwarded the sites to him below (with regards to pending law suits), but any additional information would be much appreciated. Please post any links related to the "Harley Speed Wobble" here.

Thanks.

Here is a steering dampener for Harley baggers that might be worth looking at.

I put one on a crotch rocket twenty years ago after a bad tank slapper scared the shit out of me.

Or without the annoying intro:

I was considering putting this on my bike.
