Default MPG, Whacha get and whacha ride?

With the price of Gas and driving more than 100 miles a day this Ultra classic is starting to eat into my wallet.
30 MPG sucks for a bike as far as I'm concerned. Yea its a 95 inch , but my drive is mostly 65 to 70 Mph

If there is already a post like this let me know.

I get a little better than 4o mpg out of my 06 Ultra Classic. About half of my commute is 70 mph.

I'm averaging around 40 to 42 mpg out here in the country which means 65 to 75 mph on my 04 ultraclassic. It's pretty well stock and I get about the same mileage solo and 2 up.

Maybe I need to take this thing in and get the computer redone.
I did the 95 and 203 cam on it myself then had the Power commander done by the local tuner at the time. Later I find out he sucks. I think the computer in the bike is still stock.
Thanks for the replies.

My 05 RKC TC88 EFI gets between 37-43 mpg. Only mods were the SE air cleaner and a set of Lg diameter D&D exhaust. Still running the original MAP and it pops a little on decel. I should probably get a PCIII, but have not yet. Good luck on your quest.

Thanks for the replies.
You don't need the download for the computer, unless you are worried about the PCIII going out and having to ride home on the download. You don't have to get the download to tune the PC III correctly, you need to find a good tuner person.

Update: Went riding in the country and my MPG with my breather cover on the intake was 45MPG while riding @ 65 MPH.
