Coolmaker found these tools for changing our tires. They work great!
Here is the Tire Balancer. Balancer Review This balancer is absolutely perfect, it has bearings that have almost no resistance and is the same one the racing guys use in the pits. We used it with two jack stands and it was very easy to balance the wheel. Use whatever weights you prefer, we used the HD stick on ones with some Loctite 420 adhesive like the directions said. Here is the Tire Bead Breaker we are using from JC Whitney and it works great! Very easy to get the tire off the rim with this, we put some adhesive foam tape on the breaker curve so not to scratch the rim. Tire Bead Breaker Rim protectors here. Harley tire spoons here. Tire Spoons from JP cycles. You will also need some tire bead lube or you can just use some wire pull lube like we did. This is all you need to change your tire on your bike. Hope this helps someone. A few tire changes and you have paid for the tools. Compared to paying the dealer $35 to $50 for doing it. |

Good post Squirrel, the reason I did it, is because there is no where in this town to get it done and Savannah or Charleston is an hours drive each way. This saves me allot of time..
