Moms got new shoes!!!!

She needed new tires before our Canada trip so I bought her some Avon Venom X's. The 150/80B 16 really fills the rear fender well nicely :mrgreen: No clearance issues at all. I hope to have mine on my bike in a day or so. :mrgreen:

Gave the new shoes a little dust off tonight. WOW!!!!!! What a smooth ride. We jumped up on the interstate and it was fantastic. At first I thought hmmm must be absolutely no wind tonight, but nope, it was just the difference in the ride. I am truly impressed.

Thanks Cool.....I'm being careful. Perhaps a little paranoid even but they should be broken in well by Sunday afternoon.

Sweet news Moms. Even tho I'm just the passenger .. I could damn sure tell the difference in smoothness when we switched over to the Venom Xs last month. Enjoy tearing up the Dragon with 'em too

I gotta say, and I'm not an independent tester or anything, but the VenomX's handle like a Porsche and with the ride of a Cadillac. Unless someone tells me there is a better tire out there, that's all that will be on my bikes.

Glad you're being safe on the new shoes Mom. I had a bad accident before I realized you have to take it easy on new tires.

Little over 200 miles on the new shoes now. I had the chance to run pretty hot through some twisty roads today. They handled it like a dream. The front isn't pushing through curves. They are SWEET!!!!
