Yes. Both the Avon and Metzeler 150 rear will fit on a 2004 and newer FL with the skinny drive belts.

I have a 150 Metzeler on mine right now, which is being replaced tomorrow with an Avon 150 because I can't hook up the Metzeler anymore with the extra horsepower.

Do you have to change the rear pulley in order to run the skinny belt? I would be interested to know the details on this. I am gonna need a rear tire before our road trip in June. Thanks guys

The 2004 and newer FLs already have the skinny drive belt.

The Avon 150 leaves more belt clearance than the Metzeler 150. The Avon would almost allow a 160.

It's installed and working much better.

The sidewall was toast on the rear Metzeler that came off yesterday, which was causing a funky sway on the highway. The difference with the new Avon is quite dramatic.

I would like to try an Avon 160 because the belt clearance with the 150 is huge compared to the Metzeler 150. The 160 probably won't fit, but it would be very close.

With the Avon 150 there is enough clearance to squeeze my index finger between the belt and the sidewall. I might have a pic from last weekend. I just changed laptops and will have to hunt down my pics from my backup.
