Default J&M Antennas Installed

Just installed my new J&M antennas #HRUP-ATM. They look great and no more screwin around with those stock whips. Easy install took about 5 mins. Hardest part was getting the tape off. Reception seemed good in the garage. Will let you know of any problems down the road.

Hey BPU, I just installed these on my Black Pearl Ultra. I got them in the mail Tuesday.

I had just installed some smaller rubber antennae from the Drag Specialties catalog and then read the problems with SWR on the CB frying the radio if it wasn't correct. I figured it was worth the extra bucks to keep the CB in working order.

I like them. I find the tourpac doesn't shimmy near as much with the shorter antennae and I don't have to hear the long antennae scrap against the garage door when I come and go.

Glad you posted this info. It was from your post that I found out about them.

They look great BP. Those stock antennas are crazy. I can't count how many times I have been hit with one when I got too close to a Geezer Glide.

Hey Mungo
I won't be able to test mine until all this white shit goes away. Let me know what you think of them on the road. It will definately be better for getting in and out of the garage as well to throw a cover over it when needed.
Oh and hey Speed :doublesalute: for the geezer glide

You didn't know that was part of the Geezer Glide enhanced security system?

Those things do. I only have one eye left and can't afford to have it poked out. Lol.

Hey BPU, rode about 130 miles today. I could tell no difference in the FM reception with these shorter antennae. I'll let you know about the CB reception after Daytona. I usually monitor 19 to hear whats going on and if there are any cops around.
