So I finally got the Fatboy started today, after resolving the low battery and serious flooding issue. I will never try to start it in 30 degree weather again and plan on replacing the battery dated 2002. I took the FB on a serious 6 mile high speed road race after a 10 minute warm up at idle. After all that I pulled into the garage, got the long screwdriver and backed off the idle screw 1/4 turn at a time until the idle speed slowed down and sounded reasonable since I have no tachometer. I want thank you guys for being so helpful and right on the money.

Glad it worked out for you Cheesehead!
I'll be in the Chicagoland area around the 4th of July and plan on a run up into Wisconsin. Maybe we can get together and ride a few miles.
It better be a hell of a lot warmer by then or I'm turning around and heading back down south

Drop me a pm if you are going to be in the area. We can go for a scenic ride and enjoy some warm weather, I hope.
