Cleaning up the heads will help restore flow and the new rings will restore any lost compression but it won't be that noticable over stock. The new pipes will help so long as you make sure the carb gets re-jetted.

Anytime you make changes to your intake and or exhaust, you need to at least check the jetting. If you aren't planning on getting it dyno tuned, S&S has very good instruction sheets available on the S&S web site. If you want to give it a go on your own it's pretty simple. If you get in a bind and have questions or need some help, just p.m. me and I'll give you my phone #. I'm up all the time so don't sweat it.
