Every monday morning, I hit this site and click on the tribute video. Life is about perspective, remembering how lucky we are, and thanking/remembering those who are willing to die for their country and our way of life. No remembering and paying tribute for me is not once a year on Novemeber 11th, it's every day, week and month.....lest we forget....
For you Canucks, make it a part of your week, it will only help. simply click on the picture in the middle of the home page... http://www.thecav.ca/public/index.html I am now a proud member of the Normandy unit, my Sgt at Arms is currently in Afganastan, scheduled to be home in June. Members of the unit and myself send him messages of support via email, I know they need it. |

Fubar I want to thank you for sharing that. Enough of us do not take the time to remember and thank the men and women for what they do. My senior boss and I have had many deep felt conversations about this. He is I think Sgt at Arms or Sgt Major not sure but his job is to go tell the families when one of their own is killed. This man who by the way rides an awesome Road King is disliked by most where I work for his gruff manner and his no nonsence attitude. He does not put up with bullshit and I think that is why we have such an amazing bond. We both appreciate the value of a life. Thanks again

Oh trust me I'm likely the most brutally honest person you will meet. I have no time for game players or bullshitters. Like my signature says life is short and I live by that. And again thanks for that post. If and when we meet we will have to raise a beer to the heros over there and to those that gave their all
