It was announced today that the proposed requirement for Canadians to present a passport when entering the U.S. and for Americans to enter Canada at land crossings after January 31st, 2008 has been dropped.
Flying back and forth still requires a passport. I found this page on the Canadian Federal government's Web site, which shows the updated information, but haven't found it's counterpart on an American government site. SM |

This is good news for me if I can make it up there for the big bash this year.
I was really dreading all the bueracratic bullshit associated with getting a passport.
