Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan

A Canadian soldier was killed and another was injured while on patrol in southern Afghanistan, the military said Tuesday.

Cpl. Nathan Hornburg, a 24-year-old mechanic from the King's Own Calgary Regiment, was killed Monday afternoon in a mortar attack after he stepped outside his tank to repair a broken track.
