Default Kingston Trip

hey guys,

Had one helluva great ride down to Kingston this time, weather was beautiful, little or no traffic on saturday morning...had a little bike problem, but got it fixed up.

Had meetings all day with the National Executives of the CAV, man I'll tell ya sitting in a room with these guys and hearing there stories of sacrifice, is extremely humbling, these guys have seen shit, that I wouldn;t wish on my worst enemy...to be honest it's amazing how they settle back into society at all...but they do.

The Prez asked me to stay for their ride on Sunday, I wasn't planning on it, but after meeting this guys, my mind changed. We had about 100 bikes, Vets from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, somolia, Iran, and Afganastan. Had a great ride(between the rain drops) north of Kingston, did a round trip of about 300 clicks.

Well The Cav prez has given control and all the responsibility's there in, of the Normandy Unit(GTA plus Hamilton)to myself and "Quickdraw" a Vetern. A key member of our Unit is in Afganastan right now, and his return will be a big deal.
Anyways, we have been given the reposnsibilty of Getting the Veterns Honour Ride in Toronto off the ground this year. The couple who have organzied this ride for the last bunch of years is on Hiatis, so the CAV picked up the slack.

This has traditionally been the largest Veterns ride in the country, it goes without saying that I will busier then a one handed fiddler with the crabs over the next while.

So anyways coming back through the Treton area, I got jacked up for my Bars....FUCK!!!!!....had to lower them 5 inch's back towards me, bike was almost unridable...I had no mirrors, and the most uncomfortable, awkward riding position you could imagine...anyways 110 bucks later I made it accross the top of the city and back home...

I'm fuckin dead tired....planning for the Vets starts tommorow

Thereby is my longest post on any forum any time...hope you enjoyed LOL

That'll teach you for driving not 15 minutes past my door step and not stopping in for a visit, or even calling. No sympathy for you. :P

Lol.

You could have popped in here, grabbed a bite to eat and avoided the Smokey that dropped the hammer on you. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

UFC 71 is next Saturday and we're doing a BBQ here, so you have a chance to redeem yourself.
