Thanks Speed!! Greatly Appreciated!!
Edit to add a couple of points that are not on the poster: Final Stop: Bolton Legion with BBQ, and 20 WWII Vets on hand, along with Vets from Korea, Vietnam, and Afganastan. We will also have the Air and Sea Cadets forming a color party for us as we enter the legion. After we eat, a moment of silence will be issued, followed by a pipers rendition of Amazing Grace. Also on hand will be Jan De Vries, who served with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion and was part of the historical D-Day invasion. |

Thanks SM and to FUB , this will be an amazing day for all VETS, this is a day not to miss, I hope everyone will come and share some good moment with all our Vets during this commemorative day and nice Care Ride organize by Bubble and his Troops...
You have to do it once to really know what it is and what it means to them, to see the face of all the Vets when they see us riding in front of them and shaking their hands is quite something too. I will never forgot my first experience at the Veteran Toronto Honor Ride when I met them. There is no word to explains it... Reg |

I agree whole heartedly Reg....man as a young kid before the remeberance day parades, I remember seeking out the vets with my Dad, and extending my little hand in thanks....they always gave such a big smile...and nothing has changed for my family, it;s now MY daughter who has grown up doing the same....I'll attach a pic....
This day is for the Toney Stacey Centre, but is a day to recognize ALL vets and we will do just that. I hope we get a big turnout, but whatever happens, we'll do all of you Vets proud Cheers, Bubbles |

Here are some pics of the Vets who make their home at the Toney stacey Cebtre.
I decided to take the family down there today. My daughter and our little buddy Chad, reall enjoy meeting these guys. Chad was getting all of their autographs. One of the vets who didn't want his picture taken(he didn't look his best he thought<BG> has a framed picture on his wall, that after 40 years was given to him in 1995 when he returned to Holland, for the VE celebrations. The lady who took the picture still recognized him, and saved that picture all these years, to give him.I will start with these two Edit to add he is on the vehicle to the left |
