Don't foget to book off Thursday, May 3rd and join us for BCCOM’s Annual MLA
Ride to the Legislature in Victoria to take the MLA’s and staff for a ride
on their lunch hour.

This is a chance to speak directly with your individual Member of the
Legislative Assembly on motorcycling and safety issues that affect you and
your family. It is also the big kickoff to promote May as Motorcycle
Awareness Month!

MAY 6 - TREV DEELEY MOTORCYCLES CELEBRATING 90 YEARS!!
Everyone is welcome to celebrate with us our 90 Year history with
Harley-Davidson in Vancouver.
Trev Deeley Motorcycles is having a 90th Year Party which is a free event
open to everyone on Sunday, May 6th from 11am to 4pm with Ribbon Cutting
Ceremonies conducted by Don James, Malcolm Hunter, Dawne Deeley & Darwin
Osarchuk at 1 pm at 1875 Boundary Road, Vancouver. Money raised for
charity at the event will go to Muscular Dystrophy Canada. For more details

We will have a Silent Auction with items including a hockey stick signed by
the Sedin Brothers of the Canucks, a 100 Year Harley-Davidson Book signed by
Willie G. Davidson and other notable items. We are also having a 50/50 Draw
and a Balloon burst with prizes which range from a limited edition Collector
’s 90th Event pin to tickets to a Vancouver Giants game to a top prize of
approximately $200. The event pin proceeds will also go to Muscular
Dystrophy Canada as well.

We will have live bands, motorcycle demonstrations including the Vancouver
Police Motorcycle Drill team (of which Trev Deeley was an honorary member
of) and we will have local celebrities also celebrate our 90th Year. We are
currently in the final stages with negotiations with Red Robinson and Dal
Richards to be the featured entertainment for our 90th Year event.

JUNE 24 - 2nd ANNUAL CKNW NEWSCRUISE MOTORCYCLE RIDE
Join Philip Till and Jon McComb on Sunday, June 24th for the 2nd CKNW
Newscruise Motorcycle Ride.

Last year we welcomed 170 bikes, totaling about 200 participants and this
year we would like to make it even bigger! We'll be gathering at the PNE
before heading out to the Aldergrove Bowl for a picnic lunch, raffle and
prize giveaways!

De Dutch will be the official caterer of the 2nd Annual CKNW Newscruise
offering
Dutch Pannekoek pre-ride breakfast and a
Post-ride Frying Dutchman BBQ Picnic!

CMDRA ANNOUNCES BRAND NEW "HOT HARLEY" CLASS

The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association (CMDRA) is proud to announce
their partnership with Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson to bring racers and
fans the BRAND NEW Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson Hot Harley Class, which
will debut at the much anticipated Season Opener of the Drag Specialties All
Bike Drag Races on May 19-20th at Nl'akapxm Eagle Motorplex in Ashcroft, BC!

The Hot Harley class is an elapsed time (ET) class that is reserved for
street legal Harley's. Only push-rod, air-cooled, 45-degree V-Twin cylinder
engines are permitted. More detailed specs for this class can be found
on-line at www.cmdra.com by clicking on "New 2007 Rulebook."

Competitors will compete for cash prizes and trophies at all 6 races and a
grand prize year-end trophy and payout for the 2007 points champion.

The CMDRA invites all riders who would like to give drag racing a try to
participate in their FREE Race School, sponsored by Deeley Harley-Davidson
Canada & the Trev Deeley Foundation at 9:00 am on the Saturday at each of
their 6 western race series.

It is the hope of the CMDRA and our sponsors that the participants, having
undergone instruction from the “pro’s” will come back for more, becoming
part of the growing sport of Motorcycle Drag Racing at a fully sanctioned
and safe race facility, and promote the sport, "taking it to the track”
rather than the street.
