warning to Kelowna riders

With a new Hell's Angels chapter moving into Kelowna (I think they have always been there but are now 'officially' there) the mayor is asking for a crackdown on colours. She is demanding the province make them illegal but the province says no.

Anyways, she is asking for strict enforcement of noise bylaws vs bikes. Not just Angel's bikes but all bikes. She has said that she wants to make it very difficult for them. They probably don't even ride.

Heads up if you are in the area with loud pipes.

Saw that on another newsletter too. Just a travesty with all the damn profiling. I certainly understand there is plenty of profiling of bikers here in the States -- but up North seems to just be totally berserk over ANYone who rides a bike. Gotta pull 'em over just to see if they are even hiding a support patch. Even tho ya'll have some stunning countryside to ride .. the microscope they keep bikers under would soon become a major irritation to me.

I find as long as you aren't sporting big apes or colours you are pretty much left alone unless you totally look the part and are being an asshole. A quieter bike helps too.

I don't blame it on the biker's, M/C's or not. If a government wants to harass the many to try to piss of the few, it's wrong, and happening too often
