Default Saddle shields

I was talking to a guy whose wife has the same bike as mine and he was asking me if the inside of my legs get blistered from the heat off the engine (no jokes please) Anyhow I've been looking through some magazines and pretty sure I'm looking for saddle shields. Anyone have this problem with their deluxe ? Hers was the same as mine an 07. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Hey STG.

I've heard good and bad things about these shields. Are you talking about the ones from Kuryakyn?

I was going to get some for my brother. If ya noticed at Daytona, he wasn't blessed with long legs. So he "sizzles" when it gets warm out.

Don't know any negative specifics, but I've seen a lot of people put them on only to take them back off and sell 'em.

If you get them, let me know how you like them.

I've only sold 3 sets in the past year but I haven't had anyone come back with negative comments. I'll keep an ear out for you. I kinda like the way sweat feels as it fills my boots.

I can't speak for those shields but I can say I have spent a lot of cash on Kuryakyn and have yet to be let down. Excellent quality.

Hmm, those things are pretty weird looking. I would live with the blisters, but I'm a vain sob.

I know what you are saying and totally agree. Those are not the kind the guy had on his wifes bike so have been searching to see if I can find others to look at. I think those look dorky as hell but blistered thieghs not my idea of fun especially from my bike LOL

I find some of the stuff Kuryakyn make isn't bad, but a lot of it is downright weird and that freakish thing fits into the latter category.
