Default Harley Emblem

Does anyone know how I can remove the emblem from my gas tank without ruining the paint???

It should come off just like the reflectors. Most people use a blow hair dryer on low heat to soften up the glue. Then you can take some fishing line and work it back behind the emblem. Just go slow and work your way across. Take off the residue with WD-40 or Goo-Gone.

I took mine off using denatured alcohol to kill the glue and fishing line. I have denim black paint so I dont know how the alcohol would affect clear coat.
