Default Quadzilla Fairing

Well, my Road King now looks like a Street Glide. I mounted my new fairing tonight and I'm pretty happy with it. The radio still needs to be wired, but other than that it was a five minute job to install the Quadzilla.

Lol. No idea. The wiring isn't hooked up. I don't mind tearing down engines and doing mechanical work, but I flat out suck at anything electrical and will have a buddy of mine do the wiring.

If Squirrel and Cool were here I would have twisted their arms into hooking it up by now.

It's hard to tell from those pics, but new end caps for my pipes came in too. They look a lot different than the last two sets I was sent by Rinehart. The latest ones are totally black without a hint of purple even under a strong light. The last two sets had a slight purple tinge to them before they were even exposed to heat. The set I just took off were as purple as a Prince costume after 10,000 miles.

Hard for me to see. Not to mention after the beer. So, did you stay with the black tips? I have two set's of purple ones now. Well, the last set, one is purple and one is still black.

But I'm thinking of the chrome tips they make. Did you go that way?

They keep replacing them under warranty, so I still have the black ones, but if this third set goes purple too I am going to push for the chrome ones the next time I file a warranty claim.
